![]() ![]() I apply this powder using my damp sponge and dipping it on to the lid as opposed to the sifter. Probably, wouldn’t suggest you use it as baking because it ends up looking heavy and cakey. I find that it works best with a light hand. The Maybelline powder itself is very smooth and finely milled and feels so luxurious. The powder claims to be a finishing powder, to be used after makeup but, I believe it is best applied as a setting powder, to be used after foundation/concealer. Maybelline claims this powder helps control shine and smooth skin’s texture. Shade 15 looked to have a pink undertone and shade 10 has more of a yellow undertone which is perfect for me. I later did some research to try and find the right shade to set my undereye area with and it turns out that the shade 10 ( Fair Light) was the perfect shade for me. The powder made my undereye area blend in with the rest of my face which was not a big deal. I was planning to wear this powder for setting my under eye but that kind of backfired on me. I decided to pick up the shade 20 ( light-medium) since it is a perfect match for my skin tone. I was really surprised that Maybelline carries the loose powders in 8 different shades which is pretty much unheard of so, “You go Glen Coco!” Probably the best thing that has happened in a while since you typically see loose powders in white (translucent). I had seen some reviews about this product and how good it was so, I decided to give it a try especially because I was in the market for a new loose powder. ![]() I’ve only tried the Fit Me foundation when it first came out but haven’t tried anything since. ![]() A few weeks ago, I purchased the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder. ![]()
